Privacy policy
Plain-language version: your tank calculations never leave your browser. The third parties below set cookies for analytics and advertising; you control them through the consent banner and the opt-out links here.
What we don't collect
Every calculator, chart and conversion on this site runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. The dimensions, fill levels, liquids and results you enter are never transmitted to our servers — we don't have a backend that receives them, and we don't log, store or sell them. We also don't ask you to create an account, and we don't operate newsletters or contact databases beyond email you choose to send us.
What third parties collect
To measure traffic and fund the site, we use three third-party services. Each may set cookies or similar identifiers and process limited data (such as your IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed) under its own privacy policy. Where the law requires it (for example the EU/UK under GDPR, and California under CCPA/CPRA), these services load only after you consent through our cookie banner, and you can change or withdraw consent at any time.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate, de-identified traffic — which pages are popular, roughly where visitors come from, and how the site performs. It uses cookies and processes IP-based approximate location. We have IP-anonymization and Consent Mode v2 configured. You can opt out site-wide with Google's browser opt-out add-on. Google AdSense
We display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick/Google advertising cookie) to serve and measure ads, and — with consent — to personalize them based on your prior visits to this and other sites. Adsterra
We also serve ads through the Adsterra advertising network, which may set its own cookies or identifiers to deliver and measure advertising. Adsterra's handling of data is governed by its own privacy policy. The same consent banner controls whether Adsterra loads where consent is required.
Cookies & your choices
The cookies on this site are set by the third parties above; we don't set first-party tracking cookies of our own. You can: use the consent banner to accept or reject non-essential cookies (and reopen it any time to change your choice); block or delete cookies in your browser settings; use the per-service opt-outs linked above; and enable a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor as an opt-out of sale/sharing where applicable.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale/sharing of personal information. Because we hold no personal data ourselves, most such requests are directed to the third parties above; for anything we can action, email us. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and the site is not directed to children under 13.
