Sintex 5000 Litre Tank Dimensions
Sintex makes the 5000 litre tank in 6 overhead ranges. The diameter is 1800 to 2000 mm, and the height is 1900 to 2175 mm. The Sintex Pure 5000 L is 2000 mm across and 1910 mm high. All figures are overall outside sizes from Sintex's March 2026 brochure.

What these sizes mean
The height is the overall height, including the domed top and the lid. The diameter is the widest outside size, across the ribs. Sintex states a dimension tolerance of ±1.5% below 5000 L and ±3.0% for 5000 L and above for most ranges.
Range by range at 5000 L
- Spread: the tallest 5000 L tank (Reno) is 275 mm taller than the shortest (Hero). The widest (Hero) is 200 mm wider than the narrowest (Reno).
- Hero: 2000 × 1900 mm. It has the same diameter as the Pure and is 10 mm shorter.
- Classic (CCWS-0500-01-DW): 2000 × 1910 mm. It is the same size as the Pure.
- ISI: 2000 × 1910 mm. It is the same size as the Pure.
- Ace: 2000 × 1980 mm. It has the same diameter as the Pure and is 70 mm taller.
- Classic (CCWS-0500-02-DW): 2000 × 2000 mm. It has the same diameter as the Pure and is 90 mm taller.
- Reno: 1800 × 2175 mm. It is 200 mm narrower and 265 mm taller than the Pure.

Litres per centimetre and roof load
The first column uses the outside diameter, so it is a little higher than the real value in the straight wall. The second column is the rated capacity divided by the overall height. The real value is between the two. The load is the water only on the circle of the base. Add the mass of the tank and the stand.

The Vectus ISI 5000 L tank is 1846 mm across and 2010 mm high (Vectus product page). That is 154 mm narrower and 100 mm taller than the Sintex Pure 5000 L. Vectus states that its sizes are approximate.
